How long does it take to build a deck?
The timeline depends on the deck’s size, height, design complexity, selected materials, site access, permit requirements, weather, and material availability. A ground-level rectangular deck may require less time than an elevated or multi-level deck with stairs and extensive railings. We provide a clearer schedule after confirming the project scope.
What size should my deck be?
The deck should be large enough to support its intended use while remaining proportionate to the home and yard. Consider furniture, walking space, exterior-door access, stairs, cooking areas, and the number of people expected to use the deck.
Should my deck be attached or freestanding?
